FAQ:
Do I need an MA licence or club membership to enter?
MCRCWA Club membership is not required to participate in any RidedaysWA Group.
The entry fee does include the cost of a 1 day Recreational License.
If any participant has a valid MA Competition License, or MA Recreation License, then please note it on your entry, and upon presenting it during sign-in you will be re-imbursed $30 on the day.
Please note: You are required to have a current club membership for your Competition License to be valid.
If I have an annual licence can I do a tuning group?
If you have a valid MA Senior (or Junior) Competition license, and your bike is race prepped as per the GCR’s, you can participate in the appropriate tuning group.
If you have a MA Recreational License, you are only able to participate in the RidedaysWA Groups (1, 2 or 3).
Is coaching optional, but free? As in there is no discount if you don’t want coaching?
All sessions that aren’t indicated as “Coaching Optional” groups will have coaching provided. As the coaching often see’s participants involved in different exercises in an effort to help improve their riding, it is expected that all participants will be involved in the coaching to ensure that safety is not compromised by an individual being unaware of what others are attempting on the track. There is no discount if you don’t want coaching.
What is “Group 3, Coaching Optional “
Group 3 (Coaching Optional) is a session that will see no coaching completed for most participants. People wishing to be coached in this group will need to indicate their interest on the day (or during their entry), and will likely wear a vest for the coaches to identify them when on track and provide them with tuition.
This group still requires you to ride a fast pace. (i.e. equivalent to Group 3 or 4 Trakdayz, Group 4 Track Action, or Group 4 Champions). If you clearly can’t run that pace, expect to be dropped back into Group 1 or 2, at which time you will be expected to be coached and follow the directions of the coaches.

What is a Recreational Motorcycle Ride Day?
Recreational Ride days are aimed at providing exciting and fun on track experiences for all riders from first timers through to seasoned track day junkies who prefer riding on a closed race track environment rather than taking the extra risks that one takes from riding on public roads.
Ride Days are not race practice days, they are aimed squarely at the leisure ride day motorcyclists.
If you want to test the speed and limits of your motorbike in a controlled environment, without speed cameras, trucks and cars, or the many other potential hazards that you get on the road then a ride day is a great way to spend the day riding and socialising with like-minded motorcycle enthusiasts and your riding mates.
All riders are required to hold a current RACERS Clubman Licence either 1 day for $30 or if doing multiple days save by purchasing an annual licence for only $75.
RACERS sanctioned Ride Days cater for all levels of riders with four groups that a rider can chose from according to their experience and ability.
We aim to provide each ride with a minimum of five sessions per ride day. Please read the various group explanations below before deciding what group is best for you.
*Entry Level ‘Induction Group’
The induction group is an entry level group for riders new to ride days at RACERS sanctioned ride days.
Rider training is provided throughout the day to increase riders confidence and skills to an acceptable level so they can safely integrate into other ride day groups. The induction group is mandatory for new riders, unless you can prove an acceptable level of competence. All track riders who would like to take advantage of this service are encouraged to enter the Induction Group.
The Five Groups You Can Enter:
Induction Group / As explained above. Mandatory Entry Level Group for riders new to Ride days.
Formula Group / Next step up from the Induction Group and for those who prefer to ride at a more casual pace. (no undertaking into corners)
GT Group / For riders who want to take another step up in pace from the Formula Group. (No undertaking into corners)
Corsa Group / For advanced riders who have experience and ride at pace beyond the GT & Formula Groups. (Undertaking safely into corners allowed)
FX Group / A group for the most experienced riders with dedicated track bikes who ride at a pace beyond the other three groups. (Undertaking safely into corners allowed)
**Please note RACERS Track Action Ride Days reserves the right to combine on the day similar paced groups and or recommend that a rider move to another group when we believe it is in the riders and the other riders of the group they are entered in best interests.
Please be advised that all persons must abide by the current WA Government COVID-19 restrictions.
